Reservation Policies:
Reservations are recommended. Please note we will hold your table for 15 minutes after the time of your reservation. If you will be more than 15 minutes late, please call us so that we may accommodate you appropriately.
If you have any special celebrations, events, dietary concerns or would like to secure a particular table, please inform the Poppy Hill staff member at the time of reservation.
Parties of 8 or more and special events such as Mother’s Day, New Year’s Eve and UMW graduation weekend will require a credit card number to hold your reservation. 24 hour notice is required for all cancelled reservations secured with a credit card. If you are unable to honor 24 hour notice, you will be charged a cancellation fee of $50.00 which will be issued to you in the form of a gift certificate to Poppy Hill.
Large Party Policies
Poppy Hill is pleased to serve large parties in the following manner:

Parties of 12 or more will be asked to pre-set their menu. Chef Scott Mahar will work with you to create the menu options for your guests. Pre-setting a menu will allow the caring Poppy Hill staff to provide your guests with warm, gracious service.

Parties of 20-26 may secure the downstairs level of the restaurant for semi-private dining.

Separate checks require advance notice and approval from Poppy Hill management. We reserve the right to limit the number of checks prepared so that we may provide exceptional service to all our guests.
Private Dining Policies
We welcome the opportunity to serve private parties at Poppy Hill. Minimum private dining attendance is 30 people, maximum attendance is 50 people.
